- Pull, terminate, dress, and label low voltage cabling for access control and CCTV systems
- Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission access control systems
- Install and configure card readers, request-to-exit devices, door contacts, and control panels
- Install door hardware including mag locks, electric strikes, door closers, and related components
- Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV camera systems and associated equipment
- Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform system testing, inspections, and quality assurance checks
- Work safely on ladders and lifts and be comfortable working at heights
- Troubleshoot wiring, connectivity, and system functionality issues
- Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites including schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience installing and servicing access control systems
- Experience with access control platforms such as Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Brivo, Openpath, AMAG, Software House, or similar systems
- Experience installing and troubleshooting CCTV camera systems
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project documentation
- Understanding of low voltage wiring standards and industry best practices
- BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the region as needed
