Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control devices
- Install door hardware including magnetic locks, electric strikes, and related components
- Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV systems
- Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints
- Work safely on ladders and lifts and be comfortable working at heights
- Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites including schools, hospitals, office buildings, warehouses, and other facilities
Requirements
- 2+ experience with access control and security systems, including wiring panels, installing access control components, and pulling cable
- Experience with systems such as Genetec, Axis, Hanwha, DSC, Alarm.com, Avigilon, and Gallagher is preferred
- Working knowledge of telecom and data networking infrastructure
- Experience programming access control and CCTV systems is a plus
- Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE required, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots
- Willingness to travel to job sites within Memphis, TN, and the surrounding areas as needed
