Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control systems
- Install and troubleshoot security hardware, including mag locks, electric strikes, readers, and related door hardware
- Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV/camera systems
- Perform hands-on hardware installation and system troubleshooting
- Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints
- Work safely on ladders and lifts and be comfortable working at heights
- Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites
Requirements:
- Preferably 5+ years of access control and camera/CCTV experience
- Strong hands-on experience installing hardware and troubleshooting security systems
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms is preferred: Access It, Phoenix, AMAG, Software House, and Genetec
- Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
- Access control and CCTV programming experience is a plus
- Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots
- Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the Raleigh area and surrounding North Carolina markets as needed
