Responsibilities:
Pull and terminate CAT6 cabling
Install, troubleshoot, and service CCTV camera systems
Install access control devices including readers, door contacts, locks, and related hardware
Pull and terminate access control cable
Install door hardware such as mag locks, electric strikes, and other access control devices
Read and interpret access control, CCTV, and low voltage plans
Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
Work safely on ladders and lifts as needed
Travel to Temple and Waco for day trips as project needs require
Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites
Requirements:
2+ years of commercial low voltage, access control, or CCTV installation experience
Hands-on experience installing access control devices such as readers, contacts, and locks
Experience pulling and terminating CAT6 and access control cable
CCTV/camera installation experience
Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints
Working knowledge of telecom, data, and low voltage systems
Programming or commissioning experience is a plus
Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
Must possess basic hand tools and required PPE
Willingness to travel to Temple and Waco for the day as needed
