Responsibilities:
- Install and service access control systems
- Cut in electric strikes and install magnetic locks
- Wire and terminate access control panels and mercury boards
- Run and terminate low voltage cabling
- Perform light programming and system configuration
- Install and troubleshoot IP-based camera systems (CCTV experience a plus)
- Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts
- Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights)
- Support commercial and industrial security projects
Requirements:
- 2+ years of commercial access control installation experience
- Strong hands-on experience cutting in strikes and wiring panels
- Basic programming knowledge
- Understanding of low voltage wiring and structured cabling
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Avigilon, or similar platforms
- Manufacturer certifications a plus
- OSHA or lift certifications
- Experience in healthcare, government, or commercial environments
