Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service of enterprise security systems
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, service, and maintain access control systems and security devices
- Install, service, and maintain camera systems, CCTV, and IP video surveillance systems
- Install and service alarm systems and related security equipment
- Install and maintain door hardware, including mag locks, electric strikes, door contacts, readers, and related hardware
- Troubleshoot security system hardware, wiring, connectivity, and communication issues
- Perform hardware maintenance and preventative maintenance on existing security systems
- Read and interpret security system drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Assist with system commissioning, testing, and ensuring systems are operating properly
- Work with IP-based security systems and basic networking concepts
- Support security system projects across a variety of commercial and enterprise environments
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment while working on ladders, lifts, and at various job sites
Technicians may work on projects supporting industries including:

- Commercial facilities
Requirements:
- 2+ years of commercial experience with access control, CCTV, security systems, or related low voltage systems
- Experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security systems
- Knowledge of access control, camera systems, IP video, alarm systems, and door hardware
- Ability to read and interpret security blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Working knowledge of telecom, data networks, and IP-based systems
- System design, programming, configuration, or commissioning experience is a plus
- Experience with enterprise-level security systems and hardware maintenance is a plus
- Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, OSHA-10, OSHA-30, or other industry certifications are a plus
- Must have basic hand tools and required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots
- Comfortable working on ladders and lifts and at heights when required
- Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area as needed
