General Responsibilities:
Join our dynamic team as an Assembler in the distribution industry, where you'll play a crucial role in assembling wire leads and harnesses to precise customer specifications. This position offers a hands-on environment and the opportunity to develop valuable manufacturing skills in a fast-paced setting.

Primary Duties:

Assemble wire leads and harnesses using various tools and machinery such as pull testers, solder pots, heat guns, and hand tools.
Perform visual inspection and testing of assembled parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Attach wire ends to components, terminals, plugs, and housings through crimping, riveting, soldering, or screwing.
Select wires of specified color, length, and markings, and properly route and secure them on harness boards.
Wrap, tie, and sleeve wires and terminal ends as instructed.
Mark identified data on completed leads/harnesses.
Bundle and pack assembled parts according to instructions.
Maintain cleanliness by daily sweeping and cleaning of the work area.
Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. up to 10 times per shift.
Capable of sitting for an 8-hour shift.
Strong visual inspection skills for small parts and assemblies.
Basic understanding of English to comprehend work instructions and communicate with supervision.
Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
Additional Information:

This position requires the use of safety glasses at all times.
The work is on-site with a standard 8-hour workday.
Mandatory PPE includes safety glasses; casual, clean jeans or pants, and a clean shirt are required.
Eligible for contract-to-hire employment after successful completion of the initial period.
No remote work available.
