POSITION DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY: The Assembly Worker position is responsible for assembling products, operating machinery and using hand tools to manufacture parts that meet required specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assembly and packaging of heavy weldments utilizing overhead crane. Using fixtures, equipment, precision measuring devices and a wide range of hand/power tools. Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality. Attention to detail is a must.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to bend, stoop, lift and move objects, occasionally lifting some objects weighing up to 50 pounds Stand on antifatigue matting and walk on concrete continuously throughout a (ten) 10-hour shift
