Audio Visual Field Engineer

• Install, terminate, and test AV cabling (including HDMI, VGA, audio, and CAT6/6A) 

• Experience installing AV systems in conference rooms, huddle spaces, training rooms etc. 

• Mount and install projectors, screens, monitors, speakers, and other AV equipment 

• Rack and wire AV systems, patch panels, and headend equipment 

• Program and commission AV systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc. a plus) 

• Troubleshoot and service existing AV systems 

• Read and interpret AV system blueprints and wiring diagrams 

• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights) 

• Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, offices, conference rooms, event spaces, etc.) 

• 5+ years of commercial AV installation experience 

• Experience with AV systems integration, troubleshooting, and programming a plus 

• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks 

• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus 

• Manufacturer certifications (Qysys, Crestron, Extron,  etc.) a plus 

• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots) 

• Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed
