Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex AV systems in commercial environments
- Provide advanced support for conference room systems, video conferencing platforms, and control systems
- Program, configure, and commission AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc.)
- Support and maintain DSP systems, audio tuning, and signal flow troubleshooting
- Perform system upgrades, firmware updates, and preventative maintenance
- Read and interpret AV schematics, signal flow diagrams, and system drawings
- Work directly with clients to resolve issues and provide technical support
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure system performance and reliability
- Document service work, updates, and system changes
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial AV installation or service experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across audio, video, and control systems
- Experience with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, VLANs, PoE devices)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system schematics
- Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DSP programming (Biamp, QSC, BSS, etc.)
- CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification
- Experience supporting enterprise or corporate AV environments
- Experience with Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, or similar platforms
- Manufacturer certifications (Crestron, Extron, QSC, etc.)
