Next Level Technician is urgently hiring a AV Engineer for a long-term opportunity in the Chatsworth, CA area for $75,000- $100,000 yearly based on experience.
AV Engineers at Next Level Technician will be working at a variety of Commercial and Industrial sites. These sites can include schools, hospitals, offices, retail stores, and industrial plants and warehouses. Each site and scope of work will be unique and add to the skillset and knowledge of the AV Engineer!

AV Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and configure AV systems for various applications including corporate, educational, and entertainment environments.
- Estimate AV Projects, this could be standalone AV projects or projects that incorporate AV solutions
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed project plans and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio, video, and control systems.
- Provide training and support to clients on AV systems operation.
- Maintain inventory of AV equipment and tools.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in AV technology.
AV Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in AV system design and installation.
- Extensive knowledge on Logitech solutions, Extron, Crestron solutions
- Proficiency in AV technologies, including audio mixing, video conferencing, and control systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and protocols (e.g., HDMI, IP, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, AVIXA) are a plus.
