AV Technician – Audio Visual Systems | Dallas, TX
Join Next Level Technician as an AV Technician in Dallas, TX! Earn $20–$35/hr , enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low-voltage staffing. We’re looking for experienced technicians with a background in commercial AV installation who are ready to contribute to professional projects.
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and test AV cabling, including HDMI, VGA, audio, CAT6, and CAT6A.
Install AV systems in conference rooms, huddle spaces, training rooms, and other commercial environments.
Mount and install projectors, screens, monitors, speakers, and other AV equipment.
Rack and wire AV systems, patch panels, and headend equipment.
Program and commission AV systems; Crestron, Extron, and AMX experience is a plus.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and service existing AV systems.
Read and interpret AV system blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation plans.
Work safely on ladders and lifts.
Support additional low-voltage systems at commercial sites as needed.
Requirements
2+ years of commercial AV installation experience required.
Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting AV systems in commercial buildings.
Working knowledge of telecommunications and data networks.
AV systems integration and programming experience is a plus.
BICSI, lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus.
Manufacturer certifications, including Crestron, Extron, or AMX, are a plus.
Must have basic hand tools and required PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots.
Ability to travel to local job sites as needed.
