General Responsibilities
The Batch Blender position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing process within the pharma/medical industry. This role is vital to ensuring accurate blending of ingredients, supporting product quality, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Primary Duties
- Weigh and measure bulk ingredients into manufacturing drums for blending, ensuring precise measurements.
- Verify and interpret manufacturing formulas and work orders to facilitate accurate batching.
- Ensure the availability of raw materials by verifying inventory prior to batching.
- Lead and interpret raw materials on batch sheets, verify, and stage raw materials to designated areas.
- Document all processing steps meticulously in batch records for compliance and traceability.
- Adhere strictly to cGMPs, SOPs, and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the batching room, including mopping and washing utensils used during batching.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs occasionally, with standard height to lift at waist level.
- Capability to push and pull up to 40 lbs on an occasional basis.
- Standing for extended periods, approximately 8 hours, occasionally during shifts.
Additional Information
- Role required to work on-site at the designated manufacturing facility.

- Mandatory overtime may be required based on production needs.
- Dress code may include lab coats, hairnets, and safety shoes, compliant with PPE requirements.
