NLT is seeking a skilled Electrical BIM Modeler to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting the design, coordination, and documentation of complex electrical systems for commercial and industrial construction projects . The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proficient in Autodesk Revit , working closely with internal engineering teams and external trade partners to produce accurate 3D models and construction documents that support project delivery and field installation.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit .

Interpret engineering drawings, redlines, and sketches to create accurate 3D and 2D models.

Collaborate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil teams to ensure design accuracy and resolve model conflicts.

Perform clash detection and participate in model coordination meetings.

Assist in developing construction documents, prefab drawings, and as-built models .

Produce Trimble point layout drawings to support field layout and installation.

Support ongoing BIM standards development and project coordination workflows.
Qualifications

Degree or certification in Building Information Modeling, Computer Graphics Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology , or equivalent work experience.

Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Revu .

Familiarity with EVOLVE MEP and Trimble RTS units preferred.

Prior electrical construction or low-voltage systems experience strongly desired.

Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Comfortable working in both office and field environments (approximately 90% office / 10% site).
