Responsibilities:

• Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable

• Install and terminate fiber optic cable (if experienced)

• Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testers

• Punch down voice and data jacks

• Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, ladder rack, and pathway systems

• Install and support MDF/IDF buildouts

• Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts

• Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights)

• Maintain clean and organized job sites

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience

• Experience pulling and terminating CAT5e/CAT6 cable

• Basic understanding of testing and troubleshooting

• Ability to read and follow project drawings

• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)

• Reliable transportation

• Experience with fiber optic installation and termination

• Experience in healthcare, data center, or commercial environments

• BICSI certification a plus

• OSHA or lift certifications

• Experience installing conduit or cable tray systems
