Responsibilities:
- Pull CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cable in commercial environments
- Assist with cable routing through conduit, J-hooks, and cable tray systems
- Dress and label cable neatly in racks and IDF/MDF rooms
- Support technicians with terminating and testing cable
- Follow blueprints and layout drawings
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights)
- Follow all OSHA and site safety requirements
Requirements:
- 6+ months to 2 years of low voltage or cable pulling experience preferred
- Ability to pull and route cable efficiently without damaging product
- Basic understanding of structured cabling systems
- Comfortable working on ladders and in commercial construction environments
- Reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in data centers, hospitals, or commercial construction
- Ability to read basic blueprints
- OSHA certification a plus
- Experience with cable tray or conduit a plus
