• Develop, manage, and oversee company and project safety programs and accident prevention initiatives

• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and hazard assessments, documenting findings and corrective actions

• Develop, organize, and facilitate safety training programs to meet company and regulatory standards

• Support project leadership in completing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for major work phases

• Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with OSHA and state regulations

• Lead safety meetings and training sessions, ensuring clear communication among employees

• Coach and mentor employees exhibiting unsafe behaviors; recognize and reinforce safe work practices

• Support project leadership in incident investigations and corrective action plan development

• Evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs through field walks and audits, recommending improvements as needed

• Assist in jobsite-specific safety orientations for new employees

• Proven experience as a safety supervisor or in a related role, preferably in construction or industrial environments

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and federal/state safety requirements

• Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate safety programs

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Relevant safety certifications preferred (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, HAZWOPER)

• Proficiency in documenting inspections, audits, and safety reports

• Must have basic PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
