Next Level Technician is urgently hiring Entry-Level Data Center Technicians for a long-term opportunity in River Ridge, Indiana for $18-$20 per hour. Includes paid 4-week training program – no experience required!
Data Center Technicians at Next Level Technician will be working inside high-profile data centers supporting some of the nation’s largest technology companies and enterprises. Each site and scope of work will be unique, providing hands-on exposure to cutting-edge infrastructure while adding valuable skills and experience to your career in the data center industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Entry Level Data Center Technician Responsibilities:
- Learn and assist with installation of Cat 6 cables in a Data Center environment.
- Participate in installation of Fiber Optic Cabling, including pre-terminated assemblies.
- Gain hands-on experience with LC and MPO connectors.
- Support in dressing cables in wire management, cable trays, and ladder racks.
- Assist with racking and stacking switches, servers, and other components in racks.
- Maintain accurate labeling of cables and components.
Entry Level Data Center Technician Requirements:
- No prior experience required – Paid 4-week training provided.
- Strong interest in starting a career in Data Centers or Low Voltage Cabling.
- Basic hand tools and PPE gear (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high visibility vest, steel-toe boots) required by start date.
- Willingness to learn and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- BICSI, Lift, and OSHA Certifications are a PLUS
