What You’ll Do:

As a Data Center Technician, you’ll be responsible for installing, organizing, and maintaining the critical infrastructure that keeps enterprise-level networks running. Your day-to-day work will include:

• Rough-in installation of Cat6 copper and pre-terminated fiber optic cabling

• Working with LC and MPO connectors

• Rack and stack of switches, routers, servers, and other network hardware

• Routing and dressing cables in wire management systems, cable trays, and ladder racks

• Ensuring precise labeling and documentation of all cabling and connections

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and code-compliant workspace

• Collaborating with site supervisors and fellow techs to meet project timelines

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience installing Cat6 and fiber optic cabling in a data center environment

• Hands-on experience with LC and MPO fiber connectors

• Familiarity with rack and stack procedures for switches and servers

• Strong cable management skills and a sharp eye for detail

• Ability to read and interpret basic technical documentation

• Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work first shift hours reliably
