inventor design. Adding to the team. Diversified in the last 15 years to Material Handling equipment. 47 years of battery handling. Flagship product is reciprocal conveyor. Custom power equipment design. Ideally looking for Inventor, some experience with powered equipment. Work with hydraulics. Design engineers do approval drawings, send to customer, customer signs, engineer will do detailed drawings for manufacturing/welders/etc. St Louis based. Custom equipment. Projejct for a custom picker cart- folding shelf. Engineer helped with assembly process. DFM? Currently an engineer thats been there 25 years. Purchase hydraulics/components, but alot is made in house. Inventor is a big plus. Bachelors degree - Must. - any kind of engineering degree. 1+ years of experience. Company culture would be a big plus. Multistep interview process to find the right candidate. Org that values risk taking/mistakes. Someone that can be accountable/positive. ASAP. Good strong longevity. 70-75K salary target - 80K cap. 30 minute phone. - if the candidate is someone we want to continue to evaluate the position would be eligible for assessment test. Caliper/systology test. SEcond phone might bypass to personal/F2F. Not necessary to have GD&T.
