Electrical / Conveyance Superintendent – Virginia Beach, VA
Next Level Technician is hiring experienced Electrical / Conveyance Superintendents in Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay: $40–$50/hr DOE
Responsibilities
- Oversee conveyance/pathway scope onsite
- Manage Leads and field crews
- Plan daily manpower, sequencing and work fronts
- Oversee basket tray, conduit/pipe, supports and pathway installations
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Coordinate routing, elevations and penetrations
- Coordinate with Project Managers, the GC and other trades
- Track production, manpower, materials and schedule
- Maintain QA/QC standards
- Identify and resolve field constraints
- Maintain accurate red-lines and as-built documentation
- Ensure crews are working from current drawing revisions
- Enforce project and OSHA safety requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years commercial construction or low voltage experience
- 2+ years field leadership experience
- Strong conveyance/pathway experience
- Experience managing Leads and field crews
- Ability to read prints and coordinate field layout
- Strong manpower planning and scheduling skills
- Experience coordinating with GCs and other trades
- Strong safety and QA/QC background
- OSHA 30 required
- PlanGrid, Procore, or similar construction software experience preferred
- Data center or large industrial/commercial experience preferred
