Entry Level Data Center Technician – Jeffersonville, IN

Next Level Technician is urgently hiring Entry Level Data Center Technicians for a long-term opportunity in Jeffersonville, IN. This is a great opportunity for individuals with 2–3 months of electrical, cabling, or construction experience who are looking to grow within the booming data center industry.
Pay ranges from $17–$22/hour based on experience, with opportunities for advancement and hands-on training.
As an Entry Level Data Center Technician, you will work on large-scale commercial and industrial projects while gaining experience with structured cabling, fiber optics, and data center infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pulling, routing, dressing, and labeling low-voltage and fiber optic cabling
- Support installation teams with data center build-outs and infrastructure projects
- Use basic hand tools and follow installation standards
- Assist with material staging, site organization, and cleanup
- Follow all site safety requirements and properly utilize PPE
- Work alongside experienced technicians to develop technical skills
- Maintain a strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
Requirements
- 2–3 months of electrical, cabling, construction, or related experience preferred
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools
- Strong interest in building a career in the data center or low-voltage industry
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on active construction sites
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork skills
- Safety-minded attitude and willingness to take direction
