Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, troubleshoot, and service commercial fire alarm systems.
- Install and wire initiating devices, notification appliances, control panels, and associated equipment.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics.
- Install conduit and pathways as needed for fire alarm systems.
- Diagnose and repair fire alarm system issues while ensuring code compliance.
- Assist with integrated life safety systems including access control, CCTV, and security systems as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas while following all OSHA and site safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Commercial Fire Alarm experience preferred—the more experience, the better, but we'll also review Fire Alarm Installers looking to grow.
- Strong Security, Access Control, or CCTV Technicians are encouraged to apply.
- Experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting, or programming commercial fire alarm systems.
- Experience with manufacturers such as NOTIFIER, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, Edwards, Siemens, Simplex, or similar is a plus.
- NICET certification is a plus but not required.
- Conduit installation and bending experience is a plus.
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
