Fire Suppression Technician

• Inspections & Testing:  Perform routine inspections on kitchen hood systems, fire extinguishers, and special hazard systems in accordance with  NFPA 17, 17A, and 96 .
• Maintenance & Repair:  Troubleshoot malfunctions, replace damaged components (nozzles, release mechanisms, control panels), and recharge agent cylinders as needed.
• Compliance:  Ensure all work meets local, state, and national fire codes.
• Documentation:  Accurately document all service activities, deficiency reports, and materials used through digital platforms 
• Customer Service:  Maintain professional relationships with clients, providing technical advice and system improvement recommendations.

• Experience:  Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in fire suppression or life safety services.
• Certifications:
  • NICET, Level I or II certification in Special Hazards or Fire Alarm Systems (Preferred).
• Technical Skills:  Proficiency with hand and power tools, pipe threading machines, and electronic testing equipment.
