QPS Employment Group is hiring a Forklift Operator for a manufacturing company in Allison, IA. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with forklift experience who can safely handle production materials and finished products. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and stage materials and finished products
- Verify the accuracy of incoming deliveries, including quantity and quality
- Label products and place them in designated locations
- Locate and identify products during the delivery and staging process
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock accounts
- Handle returns, including completing documentation and necessary communications
- Conduct regular maintenance on material handling equipment
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve inventory issues, incorrect deliveries, or damaged products
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Comfortable working in a warehouse/production environment with moving equipment
