Next Level Technician is urgently hiring for General Laborer Technicians for a long-term opportunity in San Antonio, Texas for $18-$20 per hour based on experience.
General Laborer Technicians at Next Level Technician will be working at a variety of Commercial and Industrial sites. These sites can include schools, hospitals, offices, retail stores, and industrial plants and warehouses. Each site and scope of work will be unique and add to the skillset and knowledge of the General Laborer Technician!
Job Type: Full-time
General Laborer Technician Responsibilities:
- Will be in at time, hot climates outside for long periods of time
- Unloading trucks, sweeping floors, overall cleaning of site
- Pull, terminate, dress and label CAT5e/6 cable (training provided)
- Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment (training provided)
- Punch down voice and data jacks (training provided)
- Install and terminate racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, firestopping etc. (training provided)
- Work from all size ladders and varied lifts (must be comfortable with heights)
- Read and interpret general system layouts from blueprints
General Laborer Technician Requirements:
- Basic hand tools and PPE gear (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high visibility vest, steel-toe boots)
- Ability to with stand & working in any Texas climate
- Understands the requirements of unloading trucks, cleaning the job site, & doing other General Labor tasks.
- Some working knowledge of telecom & data networks
