Lead Audio Visual Technician

Now Hiring: Lead Audio Visual Technician Next Level Technician is looking for a skilled and driven Lead Audio Visual Technician to join our team and take charge of high-impact AV installations across a variety of environments — from cutting-edge corporate conference rooms to complex government facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead full-scope AV system installs: pulling cable, mounting displays/video walls, building racks, terminating connections, and wiring systems.

• Act as site lead — managing installation crews, coordinating with project managers and clients, and ensuring jobs hit quality and timeline targets.

• Program and configure AV systems (Crestron, Extron, QSC, BiAmp, etc.).

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues onsite.

• Test all terminations, inputs/outputs, and system functionality.

• Mark up drawings to reflect field changes and as-built documentation.

• Represent NLT professionally on client job sites — from kickoff to closeout.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 4+ years of professional AV installation experience.

• Proven leadership on AV job sites — managing techs, communicating with upper management, and keeping projects on track.

• Strong ability to read and interpret AV drawings and schematics.

• Hands-on experience with rack building, structured cabling, and equipment install.

• Comfortable working in diverse environments (education, healthcare, enterprise, and government sites).

• Certifications or hands-on experience with Crestron, Extron, QSC, BiAmp or similar systems is a big plus.
