Lead Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling | Dallas, Texas

Experience with Valcom Speaker Systems Required!

Join Next Level Technician as a Lead Low Voltage Technician in Dallas, Texas! Earn $25–$33/hr , enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low voltage staffing. This is a Monday–Friday position with an opportunity to lead onsite crews and work on structured cabling projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and support onsite crews of low voltage technicians

  • Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5, CAT6, and CAT6A cabling

  • Pull, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cabling

  • Fusion splicing experience is a plus

  • Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testers

  • Punch down voice and data jacks

  • Install and terminate racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, and related infrastructure

  • Install and work with Valcom speaker systems

  • Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and technical drawings

  • Troubleshoot cabling and low voltage issues onsite

  • Safely operate ladders and lifts and be comfortable working at heights

  • Ensure quality workmanship and safe installation practices

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on commercial or industrial low voltage experience

  • Proven experience leading crews or supervising low voltage installation teams

  • Strong experience with CAT5, CAT6, and structured cabling

  • Hands-on fiber optic installation and testing experience

  • Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems

  • Valcom speaker system installation experience required

  • Working knowledge of telecom and data networks

  • BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus

  • Manufacturer certifications are a plus

  • Must have basic hand tools and required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots

  • Must be willing to work Monday–Friday

  • Willingness to travel to job sites within the Dallas area and throughout Texas as needed
