Low Voltage Cable Technicians – Lakeland, FL

Next Level Technician is urgently seeking experienced Low Voltage Cable Technicians for a long-term opportunity in Lakeland, FL . This role offers hands-on work at a variety of commercial and industrial job sites, providing valuable experience and exposure across a wide range of environments—from schools and hospitals to retail locations and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling

Perform cable testing using appropriate tools and equipment

Punch down voice and data jacks

Install and terminate racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, workstation outlets, and MDF/IDF setups

Apply proper firestopping techniques
- Work from ladders and aerial lifts comfortably and safely
- Read and interpret blueprints and general system layouts
- Experience in leading crews in small, medium and large projects
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial low voltage installations

Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots)

Certifications such as BICSI, OSHA, and lift training are a plus
