Responsibilities:
- Lead crews in the installation, troubleshooting, service, and programming/commissioning of security and access control devices
- Coordinate daily job site activities and ensure projects stay on schedule
- Install door hardware (mag locks, electric strikes, etc.)
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and oversee CCTV system deployments
- Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints, drawings, and project documentation
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and quality control inspections
- Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
- Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.)
- Mentor junior technicians and ensure workmanship meets project specifications and industry standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial installation experience with access control and CCTV systems
- Previous experience leading crews or supervising technicians on commercial projects
- Strong working knowledge of telecom, security, and data networks
- Experience programming and commissioning access control and CCTV systems
- Ability to read blueprints, manage project workflows, and coordinate with customers and project managers
- Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Willingness to travel to job sites within Georgia as needed
