Responsibilities- Pull, route, terminate, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling in commercial environments
- Install and terminate fiber optic cabling (a plus)
- Dress and organize cabling in MDF/IDF rooms and communication closets
- Test installed cabling using Fluke or similar testers
- Punch down voice and data jacks and terminate patch panels
- Install racks, cabinets, ladder rack, cable tray, and pathway systems
- Assist with buildouts of telecom rooms and network infrastructure
- Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and cable schedules
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights)
- 2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience
- Experience pulling and terminating CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
- Basic understanding of cable testing and troubleshooting
- Ability to read blueprints and installation drawings
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Experience with fiber optic installation or termination
- Experience working in commercial, industrial, or data center environments
- BICSI certification a plus
- OSHA or lift certifications
- Experience installing cable tray or conduit pathways
