Responsibilities

Install, terminate, and test AV cabling including HDMI, VGA, audio, and CAT6/6A
-
Experience installing AV systems in conference rooms, huddle spaces, training rooms etc.

Mount and install projectors, screens, monitors, speakers, and other AV equipment
-
Rack and wire AV systems, patch panels, and headend equipment
-
Program and commission AV systems such as Crestron, Extron, AMX a plus
-
Troubleshoot and service existing AV systems
-
Read and interpret AV system blueprints and wiring diagrams
-
Work safely on ladders or lifts and be comfortable with heights
-
Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites such as schools, offices, conference rooms, event spaces, etc.
Requirements
-
2+ years of commercial AV installation experience

Experience with AV systems integration, troubleshooting, and programming a plus
-
Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
-
BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
-
Manufacturer certifications such as Crestron, Extron, AMX a plus
-
Basic hand tools and PPE such as hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots
-
Willingness to travel to job sites within Richmond as needed
