Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling Allegheny NC

Responsibilities:
Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable
Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testers
Punch down voice and data jacks
Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
Work safely on ladders and lifts, comfortable with heights
Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts
Install and support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems
Requirements:
2+ years commercial or industrial low voltage experience
Experience with structured cabling, voice and data, or security systems preferred
BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
Basic hand tools and PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots
Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
Willingness to travel to job sites within region or state as needed
