Low Voltage Cable Technician – Structured Cabling – South Boston, VA

Responsibilities:
- Pull and route CAT5e/CAT6 and other low voltage cabling
- Work from scissor lifts and other aerial lifts throughout the facility
- Dress, label, and organize cabling according to project standards
- Assist with cable tray, J-hooks, racks, cabinets, and structured cabling infrastructure
- Maintain clean cable management and professional installations
- Read blueprints and installation drawings
- Work safely inside an active industrial facility while following all safety requirements
- Support the expansion of an existing Hitachi Power Plant
Requirements:
- 1+ years of commercial structured cabling or low voltage experience
- Comfortable working from lifts and at heights
- Experience pulling cable in commercial or industrial environments
- Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus
- Ability to work 3rd Shift (Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM)
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
