Low Voltage Cable Technician - Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
Join Next Level Technician as a Low Voltage Technician in the Dallas-Fort Worth area! Responsibilities:

Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable

Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testers
-
Punch down voice and data jacks
-
Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
-
Work safely on ladders/lifts and be comfortable with heights
-
Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts
-
Install and support structured cabling, access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems
-
Travel to various job sites as needed
Requirements:
-
2+ years of commercial/industrial low voltage experience
-
Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
-
BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
-
Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)

Working knowledge of telecom/data networks

Willingness to travel as needed; some assignments may require being away for up to one month at a time
