Responsibilities:
Pull, route, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A copper cable
Pull, terminate, and support fiber optic cabling
Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and other cable pathways
Test and certify installed cabling using Fluke or similar testers
Troubleshoot cabling issues and correct failed tests
Label cables and ports according to TIA standards and maintain accurate documentation
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
Install and support related low-voltage systems, including wireless access points, cameras, and access control
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Follow OSHA and NEC safety requirements
Requirements:
2+ years of commercial/industrial low-voltage experience
Strong structured cabling and voice/data experience
Experience with fiber optic cabling is preferred
Experience with security systems, CCTV, access control, or wireless systems is a plus
Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
Comfortable working on ladders and lifts and at heights
BICSI, OSHA, and lift certifications are a plus
Must have basic hand tools and required PPE
Working knowledge of telecommunications and data networks
Willingness to travel to job sites throughout Oklahoma as needed
