Responsibilities:
- Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cable
- Test installed cable using Fluke or similar testing equipment
- Punch down voice and data jacks
- Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF rooms, and related infrastructure
- Work safely on ladders and lifts while maintaining quality workmanship
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system layouts
- Install and support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems
- Follow all site safety requirements and procedures
Requirements:
- 1+ years of commercial or industrial low voltage experience
- Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
- BICSI, Lift , and OSHA certifications are a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Working knowledge of telecom and data network infrastructure
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
