Responsibilities:
Pull, route, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling.
Test and troubleshoot installed cabling using Fluke or similar testers.
Punch down voice and data jacks and complete cable terminations.
Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and MDF/IDF infrastructure.
Work safely on ladders and lifts, including at heights as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and system layouts.
Assist with structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure installations.
Work late nights or overnight shifts when required by project schedules.
Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and clients to coordinate work and resolve job-site issues.
Requirements:
2+ years of commercial or industrial low-voltage experience preferred.
Hands-on experience pulling and routing low-voltage cable is required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to work late nights or overnight shifts as project needs require.
Familiarity with structured cabling, voice/data systems, and basic troubleshooting.
Ability to use hand tools and follow job-site safety procedures.
BICSI, OSHA, and lift certifications are a plus.
Must have required PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vest, and steel-toe boots.
Willingness to travel to job sites in the Nashville area as needed.
