Low Voltage Technician (Level I – Level II)
Location: Brevard / Asheville, NC

We're looking for hands-on, driven Level I to Level II Low Voltage Technicians ready to take on exciting projects across Brevard and Asheville, NC . If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving problems on the fly, and take pride in clean, professional installations — we want to hear from you.

You’ll work across a range of high-impact job sites, including industrial facilities, K-12 schools, universities, hospitals, large hotels, and casinos . No two days are the same — and that’s exactly how you like it.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Pulling, routing, and securing low-voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, fiber optic) in commercial and industrial settings

  • Reading and interpreting cable pathway plans, blueprints, and site drawings

  • Dressing and bundling cables with precision using Velcro, zip ties, and cable management systems

  • Clearly labeling all cables, patch panels, and outlets to meet or exceed site standards

  • Assisting with the installation of J-hooks, D-rings, ladder trays, and other cable support systems

  • Working on ladders, lifts, and overhead tray systems in active construction zones

Bonus Skills We Love (But Not Required):

  • Terminating twisted-pair cables into patch panels, jacks, and modular plugs

  • Performing basic fiber optic terminations (Unicam, LC/SC connectors)

  • Using tools like punch-down tools, crimpers, strippers, and fiber prep kits

  • Completing patch panel work with clean, professional cable dressing

  • Running basic cable tests (continuity, wiremap, length) with testers like Fluke or Ideal

  • Supporting fiber and copper troubleshooting with guidance from senior techs

  • Keeping detailed, accurate records of installations, tests, and labeling

What You Bring to the Team:

  • A strong work ethic and passion for doing the job right — not just fast

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new skills on-site

  • A team-first mindset with the ability to work independently when needed

  • A sharp eye for neat cable installs and long-term serviceability

  • Comfort working on ladders, lifts, or raised flooring

  • Commitment to job site safety and attention to detail in active environments

Why This Role Stands Out:

You won’t be stuck in one place. This role gives you the chance to build your skillset while contributing to a variety of projects that keep critical systems running. Whether you're early in your tech career or looking to level up, this is a great opportunity to grow, learn, and make a real impact.
