Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling

Responsibilities
- Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
- Test installed cabling using Fluke or similar testers
- Punch down voice and data jacks and terminate patch panels
- Install racks, cabinets, patch panels, cable trays, ladder rack, MDF/IDF rooms, and telecom spaces
- Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights)
- Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and installation drawings
- Install and support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial or industrial low voltage experience
- Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred
- Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fiber optic installation and termination
- BICSI certification a plus
- OSHA, lift, or scissor lift certifications
- Experience working in commercial buildings, warehouses, hospitals, or industrial sites
