Low Voltage Cable Technician – Rock Hill, SC

Join Next Level Technician as a Low Voltage Cable Technician in Rock Hill, SC! We're looking for reliable, motivated technicians to support commercial structured cabling projects throughout the Rock Hill and surrounding Charlotte-area market.

This is a great opportunity for technicians looking for consistent work, career growth, and the opportunity to expand their experience across structured cabling and other low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

  • Pull, route, dress, label, and terminate CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
  • Terminate data jacks and patch panels
  • Install J-hooks, cable supports, and pathway systems
  • Install and dress racks, cabinets, and patch panels
  • Assist with MDF/IDF buildouts
  • Test and troubleshoot installed cabling
  • Read and follow prints, floor plans, and cable layouts
  • Maintain clean and professional cable management
  • Work safely from ladders and lifts as required
  • Support fiber, access control, CCTV, and other low voltage installations depending on project needs
  • Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements

Requirements

  • Previous commercial low voltage or structured cabling experience preferred
  • Experience pulling and terminating CAT5e/CAT6
  • Familiarity with racks, patch panels, J-hooks, and cable pathways
  • Ability to use basic low voltage hand and power tools
  • Ability to read a tape measure and follow project layouts
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a crew
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Ability to work safely in an active commercial construction environment
  • Basic hand tools and required PPE
  • OSHA 10, Lift, BICSI, and other industry certifications are a plus

Strong candidates will have hands-on experience with several areas of structured cabling, including pulling, terminating, dressing, testing, racks, patch panels, and pathway installation.
