Responsibilities:

Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain low voltage systems across commercial and industrial job sites
-
Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot copper and fiber-optic cabling
-
Perform fiber splicing and troubleshoot fiber-related issues
-
Install, service, and troubleshoot access control systems
-
Install and troubleshoot paging and speaker/audio systems
-
Diagnose and repair issues with data cabling, fiber, cameras, AV systems, and WAPs
-
Perform Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs), testing, patching, and ongoing system maintenance
-
Identify and properly use testing and diagnostic equipment for different low voltage systems
-
Read and interpret low voltage drawings, plans, and system documentation
-
Maintain clean cable management, labeling, terminations, and detailed documentation
-
Work safely on ladders and lifts and be comfortable working at heights
-
Carry and maneuver ladders weighing approximately 60–100 lbs.
-
Work independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality workmanship
-
Support additional low voltage systems and service needs at commercial sites as required
Requirements:
-
5+ years of low voltage experience preferred
-
Strong experience with structured cabling, fiber, and low voltage troubleshooting
-
Fiber splicing experience required or strongly preferred
-
Experience with access control systems
-
Experience troubleshooting paging, speaker, or audio systems
-
Strong knowledge of testing equipment and diagnostic procedures
-
Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of system issues
-
Extremely detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship
-
Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
-
Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
-
Basic hand tools and required PPE
-
Ability to pass drug and background screening
-
Fluent English preferred
-
Available to work Monday-Friday; schedule may change based on project and service needs

Ability to travel to job sites throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area as needed
Preferred Qualifications:

BICSI Certification
-
Experience with WAPs
-
IP and analog cameras
-
Paging systems
-
AV/audio systems
-
Data center environments
-
Manufacturer-specific access control certifications
-
Fiber certifications
-
Previous experience leading or mentoring technicians
-
Service management or supervisory experience
