Next Level Technician is a rapidly growing industry leader in low voltage and structured cabling solutions. We are seeking a Low Voltage Construction Manager in Chantilly, VA to join our expert team and help lead structured cabling projects across the Northern Virginia and DC Metropolitan area.
Job Summary
The Construction Manager will oversee low voltage and structured cabling projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety, quality, and project delivery.
Responsibilities

Serve as subject matter expert on structured cabling projects

Conduct site surveys and assist with project estimates and bid reviews

Define daily tasks and priorities for field crews

Ensure subcontractors meet project specifications and contracts
-
Convert structured cabling drawings into tracking sheets and cut-sheets

Attend on-site meetings with general contractors and clients
-
Manage inventory and coordinate material deliveries
-
Notify Project Manager of any project changes affecting schedule, cost, or scope

Maintain detailed records for Change Order Requests

Oversee site safety, quality control, and project punch lists
-
Perform field QC functions and ensure timely project closeout
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in construction
- 4+ years of experience with low voltage/structured cabling design

Experience managing craft labor
-
Knowledge of construction practices and EIA/TIA standards

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and email communication
- Preferred:

Degree in Construction Management or related coursework

BICSI and/or RCDD certification

Manufacturer certifications (CommScope, Hilti, Tyco, Panduit)

Familiarity with Microsoft Project

Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, and travel to multiple job sites
