Traveling DAS Installation Technician – Wireless Infrastructure | Colorado City, TX & Houston, TX

Responsibilities:
- Install and support DAS (Distributed Antenna System) infrastructure in commercial and industrial environments
- Pull, route, and install DAS coaxial cable throughout commercial job sites
- Perform DAS cable rough-ins and support wireless infrastructure installations
- Run coaxial cable from equipment locations to signal boosters/BDA systems
- Install cable pathways including J-hooks, cable tray, ladder rack, conduit, and other cable support systems
- Assist with installation of DAS components including antennas, splitters, couplers, and related equipment
- Terminate and secure coaxial cable connections
- Pull and support additional low voltage cabling including fiber optic and Cat5e/Cat6 when needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and installation schematics
- Assist senior technicians with DAS installations, testing, and troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite while following quality and safety standards
Requirements:
- 1+ years of commercial low voltage, telecommunications, or cable installation experience preferred
- Experience pulling coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, or structured cabling preferred
- Experience with cable pathways, J-hooks, ladders, lifts, and basic installation practices
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Ability to follow blueprints, drawings, and installation instructions
- Familiarity with telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, or commercial construction environments is a plus
- DAS, RF, or signal booster experience is a plus
- Fiber splicing experience is a plus
- Must have basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots)
- Willingness to travel throughout Texas as needed
