Traveling DAS Installation Technician – Wireless Infrastructure | Colorado City, TX & Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Install and support DAS (Distributed Antenna System) infrastructure in commercial and industrial environments
  • Pull, route, and install DAS coaxial cable throughout commercial job sites
  • Perform DAS cable rough-ins and support wireless infrastructure installations
  • Run coaxial cable from equipment locations to signal boosters/BDA systems
  • Install cable pathways including J-hooks, cable tray, ladder rack, conduit, and other cable support systems
  • Assist with installation of DAS components including antennas, splitters, couplers, and related equipment
  • Terminate and secure coaxial cable connections
  • Pull and support additional low voltage cabling including fiber optic and Cat5e/Cat6 when needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and installation schematics
  • Assist senior technicians with DAS installations, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite while following quality and safety standards

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of commercial low voltage, telecommunications, or cable installation experience preferred
  • Experience pulling coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, or structured cabling preferred
  • Experience with cable pathways, J-hooks, ladders, lifts, and basic installation practices
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
  • Ability to follow blueprints, drawings, and installation instructions
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, or commercial construction environments is a plus
  • DAS, RF, or signal booster experience is a plus
  • Fiber splicing experience is a plus
  • Must have basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, and steel-toe boots)
  • Willingness to travel throughout Texas as needed
