Data Center Technician – Structured Cabling & Fiber Installation

Atlanta, GA (Must be able to commute throughout the Atlanta region)

Pay: $20–$24/hr + Weekly Pay + Benefits

Next Level Technician (NLT) is actively hiring experienced  Data Center Technicians  to support structured cabling and fiber installation projects across the Atlanta, GA region. Responsibilities

  • Install Cat6 network cabling and pre-terminated fiber optic cabling (single-mode & multi-mode)
  • Work with LC and MPO fiber connectors in data center environments
  • Dress, route, and organize cables using best practices (trays, ladder racks, pathways)
  • Rack and stack network switches, servers, and related infrastructure
  • Label cables and components accurately for proper documentation and compliance
  • Read and interpret floor plans, network diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Maintain strict adherence to quality, safety, and industry standards on all installs

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on data center or structured cabling experience
  • Experience with Cat6 and fiber optic installation (pre-terminated preferred)
  • Familiarity with LC and MPO connectors
  • Understanding of telecom and data network infrastructure
  • Must have basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Ability to commute throughout the Atlanta, GA region for job assignments

Preferred Certifications

  • BICSI Certification
  • OSHA Certification
  • Lift Certification
