Low Voltage Data Center Technician – All Experience Levels – Phoenix, AZ
Join Next Level Technician as a Low Voltage Data Center Technician in Phoenix, AZ! We’re hiring technicians across all experience levels , from candidates looking to break into the data center industry to experienced low voltage professionals. Earn $20–$30/hr based on experience , with weekly pay, benefits, training, and opportunities to grow your data center skillset.
Responsibilities:
Pull, route, dress, label, and terminate CAT5e/CAT6 and fiber optic cabling
Assist with or perform testing of installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
Punch down voice and data jacks
Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and other data center infrastructure
Assist with fiber optic installation, routing, and connectivity
Maintain proper cable management and follow data center installation standards
Work safely on ladders/lifts (must be comfortable with heights)
Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and installation documentation based on experience level
Follow all site-specific safety, security, and data center procedures
Requirements:
All experience levels encouraged to apply , from entry-level candidates to experienced low voltage technicians
Experience or interest in data centers, structured cabling, telecommunications, or fiber optics
Entry-level candidates should have a strong willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
Experienced technicians should have hands-on knowledge of structured cabling, fiber, cable management, testing, or related data center infrastructure
Ability to work independently or as part of a team based on experience level
Basic hand tools and PPE preferred (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites in the Phoenix area
BICSI, Lift, OSHA, or other industry certifications are a plus (not required)
