Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling systems
- Install access control devices, CCTV cameras, and related equipment
- Pull and route Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, and other low voltage cabling
- Install and support commercial security systems and structured cabling infrastructure
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Work safely on ladders and lifts in commercial and industrial environments
- Maintain a clean and organized job site while following all safety guidelines
- Support additional low voltage projects at schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, and industrial facilities
Requirements:
- 2+ years of commercial low voltage installation experience
- Experience with structured cabling, access control, and CCTV systems preferred
- Ability to terminate and test low voltage cabling
- Knowledge of telecom and data networks a plus
- Comfortable working from ladders, lifts, and in ceiling spaces
- OSHA, Lift, BICSI, or manufacturer certifications are a plus
- Must have basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites within Louisiana as needed
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to grow within the company
