Responsibilities:
- Manage low voltage projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Oversee structured cabling installations, including copper and fiber (single-mode and multi-mode)
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to drive project success
- Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Track project progress, manage change orders, and maintain detailed documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Support estimating, budgeting, and procurement efforts as needed
- Lead and mentor field technicians and project teams
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in low voltage, structured cabling, or data center environments
- Proven experience managing commercial or data center projects
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optics, terminations, and testing)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, network diagrams, and construction documents
- Experience with project management tools and reporting systems
- BICSI, OSHA, PMP, or similar certifications are a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
