Low Voltage Project Manager – Structured Cabling & Data Center

Responsibilities
- Manage low voltage projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved
- Oversee structured cabling installations, including copper and fiber optic systems (single-mode and multi-mode)
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution
- Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance
- Develop project schedules, manage labor resources, and maintain project budgets
- Track project progress, manage change orders, and maintain detailed project documentation
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Assist with estimating, procurement, and project forecasting as needed
- Lead, mentor, and support field supervisors and installation teams
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in low voltage, structured cabling, or data center environments
- Proven experience managing commercial construction and/or data center projects
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic installation, testing, and certification
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and network diagrams
- Experience with project management software and reporting tools
- BICSI, OSHA 30, PMP, or equivalent certifications are a plus
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
