The Purchasing/Warehouse Manager will work with our Estimators, Project Managers and Technicians to purchase materials on a per project basis. The Purchasing/Warehouse Manager will communicate effectively across teams and vendors to ensure efficient flow of materials, and the upkeep of our warehouses.
Responsibilities
- Create purchase orders, Pull inventory items, Return warehouse items to manufacturers and 3rd party shops
- Accept shipments, freight.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly warehouses inspections.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory & reordering cleaning supplies, consumables and expendables.
- Responsible for scheduling maintenance, obtaining quotes on service and submitting for approval on equipment & machinery (e.g., forklifts, vehicles, generators, tools etc. )
REQUIREMENTS
- Computer skills to include data entry of information, research / look up of information, knowledge of excel, word outlook
- Comfortable using power tools & hand tools
- Must have ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally
